This takes time but it is worthwhile.
Take a smooth rock, wrap raw fleece all over it until it is well covered, secure with string, wet thoroughly with very warm water, add liquid soap, rub over and over continuously until the wool felts, leave until completely dry, cut lines across the top, fold open, admire!
