Simple glass bottles and a drinking glass, some metal knitting needles ….. and that wonderful child's toy, a Slinky, get together and make some interesting flower vases.
Lily of the valley in this one.
Honour this gentle flower by picking it gently: hold the stem near the base and apply a patient upward pressure until the blooms release and the stem slides out without having to be broken.
A variation on the former vase; Slinkies are incredibly flexible and versatile.
…. or this ….. or many more. The metal of the Slinky catches the light.
This is the drinking glass, held at the top with two knitting needles and then wound around the container and secured with another needle.
