They don't actually "…fly through the air with the greatest of ease….." but these daffodils suspended from the ceiling in clear bud vases using fishing line do turn and sway in the slightest breeze and catch an appreciative eye.
The vinyl tubing was purchased to be used as large circular knitting needles (they work great!) but I got to wondering what would happen if I coiled them a bit and used them as a hanging vase. What do you think?
Hung in the open doorway – they dance!
This longer, narrower tubing (yes, circular knitting needles as well) got twisted more times and the snowdrops were a perfect fit.
I got thinking of the potential for aerial flowers at garden parties and weddings and January blahs indoor picnics ……
