I'm not sure if I have just become aware of people wearing their keys on what looks like ribbon around their neck or if the number has actually increased, but I have added myself to them.
Perhaps it was the fact that the keys are worn around a neck that resulted in my using a necktie , one that was kept in the most recent culling of my collection.
It's an unusual tie, reversible, and I think it presents better with the keys than knotted around a neck under a collar.
I like the means of key transport: simpler and more convenient and handy. Functional and decorative.
Wonder where the practise originated.
