Body Friendly Food: Chewable/textured smoothies; meal in a drink

Recipe number three in the series of BFF :  one   two

This is today's version of a smoothie;  for supper but it also makes a good breakfast.

In the blender is  pineapple juice from a box and pineapple chunks from a can, raw coleslaw,  raw oats,  a handful of raisins, frozen blueberries and frozen mixed vegetables (California mix) thawed quickly by putting in a colander and running water over them, two heaping spoons of mixed nut butter.

 Two glasses and a bit came from this amount,  using the grind button on the blender.  Liquefy would have produced a less chunky drink, of course.   But experimenting with a coarser processing is interesting;  there is something satisfying about chewing a drink, about having texture in a smoothie.
