I am having a great time exploring weaving on peg looms, discovering what they can do: experimenting with a thick warp and thin weft; a light warp and dark weft; tight packing/beating; loose p/b; using yarn, fabric, thrums, dried flowers, fresh scented plants as the weft.
It is so portable: wireless comes to mind.
So flexible and an encouragement to leap in and find out the "….wonder what would happen if…" s.
I can weave part way across, stop and go back, stop and start again from the side, stop and go part way back. And so on.
It is so intensely and satisyingly hands-on: I am directly in touch with the materials, with the tools.
It is much fun.

I LOVE your blog – I’m doing so many of the sames things you are, Saori weaving, repurposing items – very inspiring!!
Like-minded. Nice. Your saori hat is lovely.
Looking great – colours, textures, freedom!
