I don't mean the culling of books that one owns; this is about temporary books, books and magazines on loan from the library, or from a friend, or picked up at a garage sale for perusal.
They pile up. I like the fact that so much is available. I do not like how they pile up and cause a crowded feeling of space and mind. It has something to do with critical mass.
I am always amazed at how good I feel when I take the time to go through them and take back the ones I have not read and likely won't before the due date and likely not even across two renewals.
