It is nine days until Solstice, my New Year, and in preparation this was put together today. It is clear vinyl tubing (which also makes nifty knitting needles) and two plastic bud holders and some forsythia twigs and willow branches. The forsythia are in water and I expect they will bloom by Dec 21 – wonderful bursts of yellow. The willow are golden in their leafless state but there may be enough moisture around their ends to send out some greenery.
Neither of these doors are where the wreath is now hanging but it was too late in the day for that photo.
