Another basket/bag : men’s ties

The piece of weaving I did on a backstrap loom using men's  ties as the weft did get turned into another basket bag.

Here it is doing duty as a bag, tossed into the trunk of the car ; it would nicely accommodate groceries or clothing or whatever being piled on and around it.

Now it is acting as a basket, sitting sturdily on the ground and yawning around knitting. 

The design would likely translate nicely into a trug and serve well in the garden.  Hmmmm……
