Part of this 'snooping through my stuff' adventure (aka simplifying and clutter busting) involves suddenly seeing things I haven't noticed in ages or seeing them in a new light.
This is what happened when I ran my eyes to the top of the cupboards in the kitchen and 'saw' the chip and dip bowl sitting in rather a forlorn idleness since the last pot luck when it was well frequented. (Did you know potato chips and dip continue to be a major attraction at food events?)
It may go back up on the top shelf; it may get donated to someone who will use it more often and open some space in my kitchen; for the moment it is holding some small 'snack' projects.
