The design for this was initially to 'decorate' dreadlocks but even then I saw the potential for them as unique finger rings and my recent interest in fibre rings brought them to mind so I made these up. The one on hand is hemp, the other two of yarn.
They are made by crocheting around an elastic, crocheting a chain, crocheting around another elastic, then going back along the chain putting two stitches into each single crochet which gives the twisted effect.
They feel different from the ones on yesterday' post but share the 'attention-getting' aspect, both for the wearer and the observer.
