Dawn-watching

Such a life affirming event and it happens every single day. Watching the night turn into day,  experiencing the moments of transition from darkness to light – magical, mystical.  The changes are subtle but definite.  Sunny dawns are more dramatic than cloudy dawns but each is a panorama, each is different.

And one can get so taken with looking to the east, to the rising sun, that it might take a bird flying past or a passerby breeze to prompt the turning of the head and looking west………
