Worth a visit – whether visiting Victoria and needing some clothes cleaned or a resident who likes to know about the unique or an artist who wants to see what abandoned clothes can become ……….
At the intersection of Quadra and Kings in Quadra Village in Victoria the laundrette (and isn’t that an old-fashioned word coupled so appropriately with Sparkle Bright, such a cute little lady) is owned by the couple who also own Cafe Fantastico just around the corner and accessible through the laundrette.

The rules of the launderette are posted on this starched shirt, an item left behind.

This ‘mission statement’ by April Caverhill explains the reason for the art on the walls.
This is one of the pieces…….

…and this is the other.
Quadra Village is full of interesting things to explore : Vancouver Island School of Art with ongoing shows, the Dutch Deli and Sweet Shop, Roxy Theatre to mention just a few.
