SHOW’N’TELL GREEN

In the interest of acknowledging and expressing what we are already doing and knowing it will increase (as opposed to thinking we should be doing something which tends to make us not, or at least not for long!) :

Take an eight inch or so length of something green (yarn, ribbon, grass…), fold it in half, knot it into an R, attach it (safety pins, those underrated marvels work great) to your expression of participating in the adventure of re-use, re-new, re-cycle, rescue, rejoice:

– the shoes your father wore in the Sixties

– the hand knit sweater you unpicked and knit into a bag and then felted

– the cashmere sweater with worn away elbows you cut into strips and then crocheted into a luxurious bath mat

– your entire thrift store wardrobe

– your sister’s (or brother’s) hand-me-downs

– your sister’s (or brother’s) borrowed (consistently) clothes

– the tent/backpack/guitar/??? from the local free box

– ????????
