Why are hardcover books persisting over softcover? Why pay two to three times as much for the same content simply because there are two stiff covers. Soft cover books are more comfortable to read, pack easier.
Is it because hard covers last longer? The only book that I ‘wore out’ because it was soft cover was Joy of Cooking.
