Of a sudden it occurs to me to replace my old toothbrush with a new one. This seems to come out of the blue: the present brush looks perfectly fine, toothbrushes have not gone on sale and thus nudged the budget-minded consumer, my teeth have not protested. What causes the sudden notion? Is there some collective consciousness going on here? Wouldn’t it be interesting to investigate this? Are others suddenly feeling the urge to boot the bristles? I guess I could spend some time in the toothbrush section when I do groceries today and see if there is increased activity. On alert! Chuckle.
