The local ATC group meets this weekend and after several months hiatus (mine!) I plan to participate this time. I plan to repeat something I have done in the past – streetcomb and put the results on cards. The findings from yesterday, Halloween, were indicative of that day: the stem with a bit of burned paper still attached from a spent firecracker; some boa feathers from someone’s costume; an invite to the festivities at a newly opened Inn in Fernwood; and a pen in the shape of a ghost with a mechanism that you can press and which makes the ghost raise its two hands in a scary manner.
The ghost pen raises the issue of how to attach to the trading card so the card could still be placed in a plastic holder around the usual size of a trading card. Well, I can’t. And the totally flattened silver fork I found (on the road) for today’s card poses the same challenge.
I’ve decided to go ahead and attach the other things to the cards and then tie the ghost pen and the silver fork onto the card with a length of twine. Let the tradee deal with the ‘attachment’.
It is a lot of fun, this ATC adventure. World wide! Google for further information.
