Those canvas chairs that fold in on themselves and fit so neatly into a cylinder of a carrying case are so very comfortable. I discovered this while in attendance and Knitting at our summer market. While furnishing this new place and waiting on a suitable chair or two to fit the space in the living room I thought of the canvas chair relaxing for the season in the basement. It got called into duty. It was as comfy as I recalled from our summer association (sometimes the memory cools as the warm weather fades) and looks quite interesting in the living room. What it needs, it seems, is some sort of a focus of heat, of summer memory. A free-standing electric campfire. Hmmmmmm.
