This dancing couple is folded from a single sheet of paper, six inches square, black on one side, white on the other. It was done by my middle son many years ago. I was impressed when he did it: it has delighted me ever since.

I agree! Each morning I ‘fold’ the knit afghan on my bed with purpose, with intent. Casual folds, letting the fibre suggest the result, trying to pay attention to my role in the endeavour.
