Slow Knitting : Scarf Update

Img_1321The Purse Stitch scarf is moseying along – I want it about six feet in length and it’s about four feet now.  I can knit that stitch without thinking about it ( P2tog with the yarn in back: that’s it!) but I need to look at what I am doing so it isn’t an option for reading and knitting or talking and knitting where you feel a bit anti-social if you can’t have eye contact.
So it’s a solitary endeavour and – moseying! – along.  This was tea at Ogden Point Cafe with the breakwater in the background.

Img_1324_2 I held up the scarf to see how it was progressing and its shadow was cast onto  a log beam in the sunroom of the Cafe.  What an experience to have added to the history of the making of the scarf.

I think this scarf looks absolutely splendid!!! I have a wool scarf that I had bought years ago which is at least 6 feet long if not more. There is something very soothing about having such length in a scarf. Look forward to seeing the finale!
