  • Knitting : Small projects

Pieces of  knitting that I can complete in one session are beginning to appeal more and more.  There’s a satisfaction that seems to strum the soul and that is the result of paying a deeper attention and this comes about because of choosing a really nice fibre to work with and lovely tools.  It all builds on itself.  And – to come full circle – the attention span is optimal for a short term item.

This thick and thin yarn was in my stash; I have no memory of where or when I got it and it has no tag but it feels wonderful and is a joy to work with and it knit into this bookmark with plain garter between double wrapped dropped stitches in a period of time in which I was able to stay focused.
I very much like the result and I think the person to whom it will be given will be aware of the energy.
