Of sheep, trees and ocean means the item was made of wool, has a driftwood handle (part of a tree that has spent time in the sea) and can be used indoors or outdoors.
The three shown here have spent several seasons outdoors and have been – seasoned. Wonderfully so.
I have yet to have a bird make a nest in such a basket but I am hopeful.
This more open vessel has quite a collection of pine needles which reminds me of the last place in which it was situated.
The clothes peg container combines function and beauty and it does come indoors between use because the pegs, not being driftwood and water-friendly, become soggy, particularly being in a crowd.
A new series is in the planning stages and will take part in show-and-tell when they are ready. I am considering brighter colours……..
