Sunbaked rocks

IMG_5650
Rocks gathered from the beach nestle on the deck in the sun.  Getting sunbaked.  Reminding me of mud pies put on planks of wood and left to dry in the sun and the wind in childhood.

It occurred to me how a hot drink can cool one down on a hot day.  I wondered if these rocks would work on the exterior of a body on a hot day.  They did.  Surprisingly well.  With cloth between rock and skin.

  1. I just loved roaming the beaches in and around Victoria and examining all the rocks and shells. I did bring some smaller ones back with me, still deciding what to do with them. But if I lived there I would have a garden full of interesting rocks. And the driftwood was another story!!
