Knitting with ???

I wonder what would happen if  I  someone cast on enough stitches to fill this circular needle and then knit with it;  maybe used ripped fabric strips instead of yarn;  maybe used hollow plastic tubing instead of whatever this is;  maybe knit a dwelling structure;  maybe…..

This flexible whatever was found at the hardware store and I cut the pointy end with scissors; the end could be stiffened for easier knitting. ; duct tape comes to mind.

The possibilities are endless.  What comes to your thoughts……
