I like the adjectives used to describe a cup of tea – refreshing, soothing, restorative…..enjoyable!
My delight increased greatly when I discovered that I could mix teas and come up with many different brews.
This is a cup of dandelion leaf tea with a bit of lapsang souchong added; the former is being used therapeutically and the smokey flavour of the latter
enhances the outdoorsy taste of the dandelion.
Here are some of the teas I use in various mixtures; I combine in the moment so each pot is different. It's mostly serendipitous, a "wonder what would happen if I took some chamomile and some sage leaves and maybe threw in a clove or two….."
A slice of lime is usually a good idea as well.
