Bottles upended on bamboo sticks sway in the wind and give a delicate chime amidst the bird song.
Using some nice weight tawny wool, casting on six stitches, knitting four rows with needles ranging from the (almost) smallest to the (almost) largest ….
… and then using arms as knitting needles (75 mm perhaps?) –
results in a length of knitting that shows the interaction of wool and needles, that gives the chance to watch and feel the process, that stretches the moment.
Shadows dance.

I love blue bottles in the garden and have a couple in various places … one is on a tea cup feeder and another is part of a mushroom that I made.
Something special about blue glass. I have tried green bottles and they are okay but not quite the same.
