Out of the Ordinary

Month: June 2009

  • Ear worms to do with cars

IMG_9716 Ear worms usually have to do with music where you hear a tune and it keeps repeating itself in your head over and over and over for hours.

A variation has to do with words:  people who pronounce vulnerable as vuNlerable  (so much harder to say!) is a case in point for me.

As are gray cars.  A few months ago I began to notice that there seemed to be a preponderance of vehicles in the colour gray.  So then, of course, I couldn't help noticing…..and noticing.

As I raised my camera to record the three gray cars parked across the road from the Polish Deli this morning, another gray one drove by.

Are there really more gray cars?  If so, why?
