Out of the Ordinary

Why is this woman knitting like that?

IMG_9611 This woman (that would be me) is knitting like this to give some tension to the vibrantly plied camel and silk yarn by Stephanie at KBN who gave it to me because she knew I would much like the enthusiastic aspect of it.  I do!

It has energy and one needs to play along with this for potential to evolve.

This was the first adventure, thinking to be a square to turn into a mouse.

Here is the square and it may turn into a mouse but for the moment it is resting in its state of  !sproing!  -  its exuberance -  and may well result elsewise.

IMG_9621Getting a sense of the potential from that square, and having a ball of the Habu yarn that looks like leaves strung along a vine,  I thought to combine the two in a loose stitch with the idea of lattice and ivy……..

IMG_9623 ….yes!  The camel/silk in their madcap combination are offering an anywhere – goes ladder on which those leaves are twining.

A scarf/cowl looks like will happen but I watch and wait as I knit to see what will result.
