Replace! And now I have my own handspun which I am using to make the cuffs – four rows on the #11 needles in a K2 P2 rib before switching to the smaller needles and sock yarn using two strands. On 28 stitches which makes it quick and simple. Using – as usual – the woodsman sock pattern page 24 here
