Not only do we harvest apples and potatoes and French tarragon ….. in the autumn. We harvest weather as well.
By October the nights are turning cool but the days and evenings are still warmed, not only by the sun, but by the rays caught across the past summer months in the earth and the trees and the ponds and the covering of the creatures be it skin or fur or feathers.
People are more outdoors now than they were a month or so ago. On patios, walking neighbourhoods, in parks, on the tennis courts, on porches …..
Abundant 'harvesting' in the pure enjoyment of being in such a mellow environment.
