Five 'old' ties sewn together for most of their length, thick toward thin end, forming a rectangle and then fitted onto a six-cup tea pot, space left for handle and spout. Narrow ends are tied into a loose knot (not likely Windsor!) and folded over the top of the pot.
A nice way to use 'retired' ties when there is time, anytime, for tea.
