During that flurry of working with fishing line awhile ago one item that resulted was a crocheted object like a teeny tam; a 'what you get when you crochet round and round with fishing line' thing.
Then, later, when doing the posts on buttons I thought of it and how it could be used as a button.
Well, it now is. I stuffed it with bits and pieces of the fleece used in the Puzzle Coat and attached it to the left front with a safety pin.
The button hole on the folded down right front is a simple cross cut through both layers of fabric which hugs the button nicely.
I love how fleece can be sculpted into a garment by folding or cutting.
