When ladybugs began to appear in the house at this time last year I cut up soaked raisins for them to eat.
This is the first one of the season – I thought it was a crumb on the counter!

Cartoon-like! Never thought of that. Thanks, Pip. They would make quite the characters. Puffy little shoes come to mind. I will be peering closely at the next ladybug I see with this in mind.
