The lucet braiding turned out really well. I like your creation of a lucet from the wooden salad forks. I’m sure you are always on the lookout for a lucet at the various sales you attend.
PS – I just searched lucet at eBay and saw some that are up for sale.

Yes, I would love to find an old one with much use and history. It was my thinking the spool on your site had only two pegs that got me wondering about corking on just two! Thanks for the alert about e-bay; will check these out. I prefer the direct experience of sales and chatting about the item and where it came from etc. but e-bay does offer a wider horizon.
Great use of those salad forks. Lucets are extremely useful & cool – and they attract men to crafting!

I strolled over to Knitting Out Loud – am pleased for the introduction! Nice to see lucets appreciated. An interesting observation about men being drawn to them. Could it be the Viking aspect, perhaps.
