Stroll through stash mitts finished. At last! Too late?

These mittens have been WIP's for  days  weeks   months.  It just happened – or, in this case,  didn't.

I am pleased with how they turned out.  I enjoy strolling through my stash, especially the old suitcase that has bits and pieces of  interesting wool,  and selecting – well,  bits and pieces;  then, putting them in a pile and randomly choosing the yarns  and randomly knitting one or  two or more rows:  letting the whole process decide. 

I may not get a chance to actually wear them until next cold season but a March or two ago I did knit some teeny scarves for the garden daffodils when we had a cold spell with some snow.  So I will perch the mitts on the windowsill and let them watch the weather.

They feel nice and cosy and I left the ends of the various yarns inside which gives a  thrum aspect.
