Those really long, really stretchy cowls or snoods that were popular a few years back keep turning up in thrift stores. I came across this one while sorting through my winter scarves – bought it last summer and tucked it away for cooler weather – and wore it as a cowl and then as a scarf. It was okay …. but then I wondered what would happen if this chair 'wore' it ……
I like it! The turf aspect and the colour suit the chair and give it a rather funky look.
What about the metal folding chair that leans patiently against the wall in case needed for extra seating ……
Well, a bit of fun for an unexpected guest.
If these suddenly start popping up now that I have put a bit of focus on them I will likely buy them. I think they would nicely cover those plastic chairs that are so comfortable but which become sun burned in the garden and then get put by the road with a free sign on them. Set side by side but facing in opposite directions they make for interesting 'conversation seating' and the cowl, one end on each, would hold them together.
White chairs; black cowl would be my preference.
