I read that one half teaspoon of cinnamon a day significantly lowers blood sugar. With type 2 diabetes an issue this caught and held my attention. I've been adding it to porridge, smoothies, baking, tea and coffee (very nice!), vegetable dishes and just now wondered how it would taste sprinkled on bacon. Hmmm.
It is a compatible spice; it does not make every dish taste the same but enhances the different flavours.
Having broken the sugar addiction, I find that cinnamon satisfies sweetness without triggering the craving. A lady standing in line at a church sale told me this.

I just got an email about the benefits of cinnamon and honey from a friend in Florida. I’ll email it to you so you can check it out.
