She was sitting on a chair at the VOCAL sale on the weekend. And what a sale that always is!
After reading Total Recall and the galloping progress of the e-memory adventure, I give a nod to soon, sooner, soonest being able to retrieve , from memory, an image of her on that chair amidst the cheerful 'chaos' of that sale, of one of the sellers carrying her to the car and carefully arranging her in the trunk, of the missing parts on one eyelid and eyebrow, and being able to post those images here.
For the moment I offer word pictures.
Her eye and eyebrow were quickly repaired with what I had on hand – plasticine.
There was no immediate history of what had led to her presence at the sale; I suspect she was a prop for, perhaps, a play. No signature. (Oh, artists – sign your work!) But I have put out the word that I am interested in knowing her provenance. Details are enriching on many levels in life.
For the moment she shares space but I have a feeling she is a guest. For the moment I am much enjoying her visit.
