Now that I've started making nut butters and know how simple and quick it is I am keeping myself supplied.
Here is the process.
These are unsalted roasted peanuts.
Mixed nuts produce a flavourful butter that varies with the variety of the nuts.
I plan to try adding some chunks of cocoa mass to a batch of the plain peanut butter but have not yet.
After grinding for a bit some oil is added. And then some more grinding.
I am not sure if a longer processing would result in a smoother butter. It gets thicker, of course, and I like it chunky; there is also some concern about burning out the motor on this small machine. Any experience with this?
I also started making chappattis again and having a stack of them in the freezer with a quick pop into the toaster oven has me keeping that supply on hand. It takes about 20 minutes to make a dozen.
