About this time each year, while eating outdoors, I usually have company drop by. This may be the same wasp from last year, the landing was as if by invitation and the salmon a direct and immediate selection.
Wasp did a bit of a fly around once the piece of fish was secured – I take this as a "thank you" – and I was busily trying to get a photo of it in flight. I managed its exit, upstage, to the right.
