If you put some frozen blueberries in a bowl and then pour milk over them the zero temperature of the fruit causes the milk to coat them and freeze. They all chum together and form a rather ineresting – and tasty – iceberg.
This was breakfast and only blueberries and milk. (That's soy milk, but I imagine any would do.)
For a dessert at dinner I would put chunks of canned pineapple and cut up fresh grapefruit in a bowl, pour some of the pineapple juice over them, add a layer of frozen blueberries and then pour milk over them to cover. The combination of a frozen topping over room temperature fruit is very nice. Hmm – I wonder what it would be like to warm the pineapple and grapefruit slightly.
