Knit a poppy for Remembrance Day

I made a new poppy this year to replace the one I made here, not because I lost that one – I just can't remember where I put it last year so I would remember-where-I-put-it for the Remembrance Day coming up.

This one is made from a  phentex-like yarn  I got at the dollar store which did not require any stiffener.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I really liked this one.  Wonder what -made-sense-at-the-time place I put it;  wonder when I am next going to come across it and say, "oh, of course".
