I went outdoors into the crisp cold air and stood and stared at the eclipse of the Moon.
I thought I had done a post in the past about such a Moon adventure but could not find it; found this one from five years ago.
It’s almost a full moon. One of the wonders of Nature is how we can gaze and gaze and gaze at the moon and never tire of it. The same with watching birds. Or water flowing. With the moon, while locking gaze (for, of course, it is looking back) sometimes it occurs to me that it is only a trick of light that makes me see (and think) that the moon is ever less than ‘full’. Turning that ‘lens of awareness’ on my own life is worthwhile.

Read about the eclipse on the west coast. The moon was huge in the sky this morning, couldn’t see it last night because of cloud cover.
Hi Linda. And if it had been ‘visible’ I know you would have gotten a magnificent photo of it.
We got up to see the eclipse, but it was cloudy here on the island so there wasn’t a glimpse – just a feeling. But enjoyed a drive in our search for a break in the clouds and an unexpected early morning coffee and conversation at a cafe.
Morning Terri
“Feeling” an eclipse and an unexpected cafe visit sounds lovely.
