I wondered what would happen if I took bundt pans and put toys in them and then added water and froze them and then took them out of the pans and tied red yarn through them and hung them outside.

In Ontario I could have done this outdoors and they might have lasted days/weeks/months in the frozen form.
Here in Victoria I used the freezer. And when hung outdoors they began slowly to melt.
It did not occur to me until later that if I had used boiled water they would have frozen more clearly.
It now occurs to me that icicles in Ontario are transparent …. hmmm.
