This morning, while making a batch of peanut butter, process detailed here, I thought about adding some salt for a change; I use unsalted blanched peanuts. As my hand reached for the salt mill my eyes stopped at the salt box. I wondered what it would be like to use chunky grains of sea salt. Well, I am pleased. The peanut butter is not uniformly salty but has perks of flavour.
