This pair had just crossed the road from the Art Gallery on Moss Street heading for Government House on Rockland having their morning saunter.
It was a casual stoll across the road and I could not get my camera out quickly enough to catch them pausing to stare thoughtfully at the drivers in the cars who had had to stop at their crossing.
Even in rush hour we all waited patiently (well, quietly – not a horn was beeped: such an action would have considerably startled those three of us in that burst of rush hour traffic; the deer might have gotten cranky).
