Ubiquitous! I wonder (hope!) some curious traveller is noticing the presence of such a necessity in all areas of the world and is recording them in all their wonderful diversity.
Closer to home, I hope someone will come up with improved methods of turning whatever is on hand (napkins; sticky rice; bubble gum; stale donuts) to stabalize a table.
