In the past I've noted that bubble behaviour in chilly weather – especially with wind whistling – can result in the bubbles scooting back into the house through the window from which I have released them.
This morning they did not express house preference (there was no pushy wind) but drifted casually across the deck. And strolled by the bird feeders. As recorded by Canon.
What I captured, a few seconds earlier, but only with the lens of my eyes and could not record – except in words – was the sight of the unflappable nuthatch on the peanut feeder with bubbles all around it, until, one burst on its tail! It flapped away!
