The weather has turned mild and wet and misty; I got out the Puzzle Coat and it is perfect: the fleece is light and cosy, resists the rain and dries quickly for the drops that persist. I made it from different pieces of fleece and know I blogged about the process but cannot find it. It delights me now as much as when I first made it.
This Saori hat is perfect also – the colours and the way it 'tents' the head.

I love the colours on your coat Karen. It is time to get the outer wear out here too. That huge storm system from the States will be pushing into our area tonight. We are lucky to be able to say we can stay in and watch it from the windows. There will be high winds and lots of rain, so what better place to be than beside the fire.
