Out of the Ordinary

Insomnia. Eureka!

It is not often,  now,  that I want to fall asleep and easily can't.  But a recent time of  ideas and thoughts and planning in the middle of the night, with a more-than-usual scheduled day ahead, had me busily buzzing and wanting to sleep.  It suddenly occurred to me that my thoughts were very noisy. Hmmm.  I put in some ear plugs, the wax kind.  The inner noise changed.  I could hear the sound of my breathing.  It was soothing.  And became more so. I drifted asleep.
